Rebuilding Connection, Trust, and Mutual Understanding

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Relationships are among the most rewarding parts of life, but they can also bring our deepest vulnerabilities to the surface. Over time, even loving partners can find themselves caught in repetitive arguments, emotional distance, or misunderstandings that feel impossible to break on their own.

Couples therapy provides a supportive, neutral space to step out of reactive conflict and into authentic dialogue. Whether you are navigating a specific crisis, feeling disconnected, or simply wanting to strengthen your bond, therapy helps you understand the underlying dynamics driving your interactions.

My Relational Approach

My work with couples is informed by intersubjectivity, which views a relationship as a co-created space between two unique individuals. Rather than taking sides or playing referee, my role is to help both partners feel heard, understood, and supported as we examine the relationship as a whole.

  • De-escalating Reactive Cycles: Identifying the hidden "dance" or pattern you get caught in and learning how to pause before reacting.

  • Fostering Emotional Safety: Creating an atmosphere where both partners can express core needs, fears, and desires without defense.

  • Healing Trust & Betrayal: Navigating complex relational ruptures, intimacy issues, or boundary shifts with care and honesty.

  • Inclusive & Affirming Care: Providing tailored support for couples across all relationship structures, orientations, and backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ relationships and non-traditional dynamics.
